Women’s Collective Empowerment

Self-Help Groups

(Supported by Dabur India Limited – CSR)

Self-Help Groups (SHGs) are a powerful platform for women’s economic empowerment, collective strength, and leadership at the grassroots. Supported by Dabur India Limited’s CSR, SUNDESH nurtures SHGs as hubs for financial inclusion, livelihoods, and social change.

Through SHGs, women access group savings, credit linkages, livelihoods opportunities, and peer support, strengthening confidence and participation in household and community decision-making. The model fosters solidarity, resilience, and community leadership through
participatory processes.

SUNDESH also strengthens SHG capacity through entrepreneurship exposure and linkages with financial institutions and sector experts, enabling women to explore enterprise pathways and income generation over time.

“Collective strength. Sustainable change.”
